Thought We Had A Phone Disater Today

Got a call from Debs earlier asking if I knew where Tegans phone was as
they couldn't find it.

I said she had it last night in her hoodie pocket at one point.

Ah so where's the hoddie Debs asks

In the washing machine says I

Well the machines on just now did you not check the pockets was the reply I
had.

I was pretty sure that it wasn't in the pocket but that doubt remained.

Debs phoned later to say the phone had been found but not in the washing
machine but outside on the table. It was damp and not happy but the screen
did display but with some funnieness about it or the buttons So a couple of
people have said to put it in dry rice to absorb the moisture and see how
it goes.

I will see it when I get home and how that works out.

I do have a SPV C550 that Tegan can have if the 500 is jiggered. But she
likes her phone.

in a deal worth $2.7bn.

I Know This Is Hard Necked But..........

Does anyone have an old Nokia that they don't use that has an infrared port
and works on GPRS Unlocked or on Orange if possible. If its locked I should
manage to unlock it ok as the older ones are easy enough to do.

With the beta testing of 2TwitMe I'd like to try it on a Zire 71 that
doesn't have bluetooth only IR. Palm sold the 71 as bluetooth capable but
never produce drivers for the sd card the had for earlier devices and later
Palm PDAs had Bluetooth built in.
